All participants must arrive with one fully memorized song—any style, any genre—prepared and ready to work. This ensures deep, meaningful coaching from day one.

What You’ll Experience Over Four Days

Day One – Foundations & First Impressions

• Vocal warm-ups and targeted breathing techniques

• Exploring dynamics, tone, and vocal placement

• First full sing-through of your prepared song with personalized, constructive feedback

You’ll begin with strengthening your technical foundation, then dive into your first guided exploration of your piece.

 

Day Two – Character & Connection

• Character study and emotional breakdown of your song

• Review and refine your piece with your new insights

Learn how to understand your character’s motivations, emotional shifts, and storytelling arcs to create a deeper, more connected performance.

 

Day Three – Subtext, Intention & Artistic Choices

• Vocal warm-ups and breathing techniques

• Understanding subtext and how to “act the song”

• Group share: present your character choices and subtext discoveries

This day focuses on the inner world of your character—what they want, what they feel, and how every moment of your song communicates that story.

 

Day Four – Polishing for Performance

• Vocal warm-ups and breathing techniques

• Implement all tools learned throughout the intensive

• Final coaching toward a confident, performance-ready rendition of your song

On the final day, everything comes together. You’ll shape your song into a polished, emotionally rich, and vocally grounded performance.
